What is the Compassionate Edge?

You know by now that Edge Film Technologies is innovating both window film products and the way those products are brought to market by breaking down barriers to the newest window film technologies and making the technologies available to everyone.

If you have had the chance to work with Edge, you will likely see our drive to be innovative in other areas as well such as how we help our dealers realize their market potential and how we collaborate with dealers and consumers to express compassion toward those around us.

The Compassionate Edge is a program where Edge, our dealers, and consumers work together to identify people and organizations who could benefit from Edge window film products but cannot afford to pay for them.

Consider these few examples:

  • An organization for at-risk children that could use window tinting on their van,
  • An elderly person without air conditioning who could benefit from reduced solar heat gain,
  • A community organization that could benefit from anti-graffiti, or security film.

Please contact Edge at Info@ProgramEdge.com if you would like to nominate someone or some organization to receive the benefits of the Compassionate Edge program.

By providing films for homes and vehicles that block nearly 100% of the sun’s UV, Edge Film Technologies Compassionate Edge Program is a proud supporter of XP Families and the California-based XP Family Support Group.

wanderlust busEdge Film Technologies donated high performance film and labor for the Sherfel family and their green bus conversion.

The WanderLustBus is owned by the Sherfel family who is currently undertaking a completely organic and green conversion of this bus from commercial vehicle to organic tiny home that we plan to live in and travel the country. The focus of this project will be on the use of completely natural materials and products designed to be energy efficient absolutely everywhere possible.

Along the way we are documenting the process on our blog, www.thewanderlustbus.com. We will be doing step-by-step video tutorials of every step of the conversion process. We are also including posts about the organic lifestyle we live.

Auto Evolution in Baton Rouge

This summer has seen catastrophic flooding in Louisiana again – to compound the economic difficulty from lower gas prices and oil and gas industry layoffs.  When a flood takes everything you own, we suspect the loss these folks experience is greater than financial loss.

We would like to be with our new friend Russell Bourgeois, helping him through the endless days and nights of cleanup at Auto Evolution at 3655 O’Neal Lane in Baton Rouge but are still happy to help with eight rolls of 20″ film.  The best thing you can do for Russell now is take your car to Auto Evolution and get it tinted to help his business get back on track.

Please contact us to nominate someone or some organization to get the protection they need
